The local gateway interface is intended for nearby integrations that need local data and control paths. Its public contract and documentation are still being prepared.
Event delivery for external applications is planned, but it is not yet a public integration surface. Register or join the developer chat for future announcements.
Use the Central REST API and MQTT today. The Data API and Gateway API remain visible so developers understand the architecture without mistaking roadmap interfaces for finished products.
