In Energy saving mode, the node will sleep and wake up on a predefined time intervals, this allows node to run off-grid on a battery with a solar panel for charging.
Once a node wakes up it will collect data from the attached sensors and send data to gateway before going back to sleep.
Important! This mode cannot be used with sensors or automation functions that requires continues data from sensors.
Setting up node to run in energy saving mode is easy, simple check the box of “Energy save mode” in APP when pairing a new node in the wizard.
This mode is also compatible with our solenoid off-grid node.
